A small clarification:
You can also apply at the cost of your chapter or user group (if your affiliate selects more representatives than the basic quota) or at your own cost (if you are not selected as a community representative but you want to attend). In these cases you should also register before the deadline, i.e. today.

Dear CEE community,
Just a small reminder that the registration for Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2018 is closing tonight (23:59:59 UTC on 10 August).

At the moment we lack participants from Bosnian language community and Montenegro. If you are a part of these communities and want to participate please apply and fill in the registration form! If you know someone from these communities please help us spread the word!

There are also other communities who have not registered one or more representatives of their communities yet. If you are one of them, you have less than 24 hours left to register, so do not postpone it anymore :)

Dear CEE community,


As you know, Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2018 will take place on 13-15 October in Lviv, Ukraine and is organised by Wikimedia Ukraine. We have 2 announcements today:


1) The registration for Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2018 is open.


Each affiliate/community from the CEE can send two delegates who will get travel and accommodation costs funded by the conference grant. These delegates should provide link to board, group or community approval in the application form.


The community/affiliate may (and is welcomed to) delegate more participants but their costs must be covered by the affiliate or the participants themselves.


We want this conference to be diverse and productive. We encourage CEE affiliates and communities to select diverse delegates. We welcome participants who will take back their experience and share it with their communities. 2) Call for submissions is also open.


Submissions should cover one or more topics chosen based on a pre-conference survey. The deadline for submission is 26 August 2018, 23:59:59 (UTC).
