Vassia, I think your may be discussed more in detail in PR, Media and Social networks session - this would be great if you could present it there.
Alternatively, if you think it is more targeting cross-border cooperation than social networks, we can put it there.
Please feel free to add your suggestions to the programme: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_CEE_Meeting_2014/Programme

Hello Vassia,
It is true that not many groups have added information to that Meta page about their use of social media locally.
However, there are already two CEE Facebook groups that have been created for regional coordination:
* CEE Facebook group:  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Central-and-Eastern-European-Wikimedia-Group/126823067414311
* CEEM 2014 Facebook group:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/1535273526719763/
Might these channels meet the objectives you proposed on the Meta page?
Is this something that could be discussed at the meeting in Kyiv?
All the best,
Anna :)

Hello, all,

One more topic from Wikimania London, which I'd like to remind you, was an idea to get a working collaboration on promotion of Wikimedia projects in the social networks.
Sadly, this idea didn't get much coverage after Wikimania, and a reason might have been that I didn't promote it well enough.
Whatever the reason, if there are people now who think it worthy elaborating - by either me or my colleague Nikola Kalchev, who also expressed interest to join the Kyiv Meetup, please give us any sign here or in the wiki page

Thanks,
Vassia
