[WMCEE-l] Meetup in London

Hey Everyone,

Awesome meeting at lunch today! Thank you to all who sat out in the sun and
the heat to do so.

For those who were unable to attend the lunch meetup today
<https://wikimania2014.wikimedia.org/wiki/CEEM_2014_Meetup>, minutes were
taken on my laptop and I will upload them tonight from my hotel. I will put
them on the CEE page on Meta, and I will email a link on this list.

We did not yet decide if we should have a meeting this year; we agreed to
continue discussing it. I hope you don't mind me being bold; I created a

Nataliia Tymkiv from Ukraine [[User:Antanana]] will start a new wikipage
(subpage of the CEE page on Meta) asking everyone to list their program's
strengths and weaknesses, or what you're doing well and what you could use
help with (what are your needs), so we can see overlaps. Also any questions
you have that a CEE meeting might answer, to help form the basis of what
would be the 2014 meeting's agenda. She will email a link to that page to
this list.

Vassia Atanassova from Bulgaria [[User:Spiritia]] will send a post to this
list asking about starting up a Facebook group for this group, since the
mailing list is not used as much as other means of communication could be
to coordinate our individual efforts and cross-promote them on our own
social media channels.

With regard to a second meeting tonight, I've invited everyone to join me
at The Trader <http://www.traderlondon.co.uk/> at 7:15pm. This pub is about
2-3 blocks away from the Barbican and it's about a 5 - 7 minutes walk. The
address is 142-146 Whitecross Street, London, UK EC1Y 8QJ.

The Education Meetup

there at 7pm, and the education team from the WMF will be buying the first
drink! (You'll just need to be prepared to tell us what you are doing in
education, or what you plan to do, or what you might like to do.) ;)
